Norm Pollard, Ed.D. (Institute Speaker)


Norm Pollard, Ed.D., is the Dean of Students at Alfred University, a licensed mental health counselor and certified Title IX investigator. Norm was the co-author of one of the first studies of hazing among athletes and hazing in high schools in the United States, providing crucial baseline data about the phenomenon. An adjunct associate professor, he has taught graduate courses for the College Student Development, Counseling and School Psychology programs.

He has appeared in the media, served as an expert witness and spoken to numerous audiences about hazing. Additionally, he is an Advisory Group member of the National Collaborative for Hazing Research and Prevention.
