Timothy C. Marchell, Ph.D. M.P.H., M.Div. is a clinical psychologist and Director of the Skorton Center for Health Initiatives at Cornell University, where he has served since 1998. The Skorton Center provides institutional leadership and conducts research on the promotion of student mental health and the prevention of suicide, alcohol and other drug abuse, sexual violence, and hazing. Drawing on his work with organizations and teams that have hazed, as well as his background as a former college athlete and fraternity member, Dr. Marchell has developed group-based and campus-wide hazing prevention strategies.
