ASSESSMENT AND EVALUATION –
It is important for us to know if we are hitting the mark in providing the kind of information and training you need to carry out effective prevention work in your community. To that end, we will be asking you to complete pre and post-test assessments immediately before and after the Institute. Additionally, we plan to send another survey after six months to measure your progress in developing and implementing a prevention plan. Please take the time to share this crucial feedback with us so we can continue to improve the Institute’s effectiveness.
CHECK AND CANCELLATION POLICY –
Early bird Check policy: If you are paying for early bird spots with a check your check must be postmarked by March 31, 2020. Otherwise you will be charged the regular rate for participants. Questions and inquiries can be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Cancellation Policy: Cancellation requests and participant name changes must be received by May 15, 2020. A $75 processing/handling fee will be assessed to all refunds. After May 15, 2020 there will be no refunds issued.

BREAKFAST: Each day breakfast is on your own: we will have coffee, beverages and snacks available throughout the Institute.
WHAT TO WEAR –
The atmosphere will be summer business casual, and we encourage you to be comfortable. Facilitators will be wearing casual clothing such as jeans, khakis, polo shirts, and summer business casual. We encourage you to dress comfortably as well. Be sure to bring a light sweater or jacket as meeting rooms tend to be cooler, and pack an umbrella because you never know!
WHAT TO BRING –
- iPad or Laptop – We suggest you bring a laptop or iPad to reference while on site. You will have access to all Institute slides.
- Water bottle –Water stations are often available throughout the institute to refill water bottles as you please, and this will help reduce the use of individual water bottles.
- Notepad and pens – There will be a lot of information you may want to take notes on.
- Umbrella/Rain Jacket – You may want to come prepared for rain as summer always brings showers.
