What is Hazing?

Hazing is harassment, abuse, or humiliation as a way of initiating a person into a group. Hazing is not bullying, but it leaves similar emotional and psychological scars. Sometimes it leads to physical injury or death.

Who Hazes?

Hazing occurs in a wide range of groups: athletics, performing arts, religious, service organizations, fraternities, sororities and honor societies.
