“Taking a team of colleagues to the Interdisciplinary Institute for Hazing Intervention was the perfect way to kick -start our campus coalition. The knowledge we gained allowed us to target other University staff for inclusion in the coalition, develop a common understanding of the problem, and begin conversations on possible strategies for hazing intervention—all before we left the Institute. Since we were all from different university departments, it would have been difficult to find adequate meeting time once we returned to campus. The Institute was a terrific bonding experience for our core group and really served as a kind of planning retreat in addition to the great curriculum.”
-Tony Blanton, Associate Dean of Students, University of Kentucky
